We hand dye or paint all our own cotton fabrics using procion dyes. A variety of different dye recipes and immersion techniques are used which means that each piece is totally unique. The methods used create wonderful individual dye marks on the fabric which are just perfect to stitch into. When you look at the patterns that the dyes create you can always find something to inspire you, a flower or perhaps a feather; once someone even found a perfect outline of a cat -a happy accident! These colourful pieces make lovely backgrounds for textile art either used as a whole or cut up to make best use of particularly interesting sections. All pieces are 100% cotton, washed and colourfast. |
