We are a group of three textile artists living and working in Scotland 

The group was formed in July 2007 and the fabulously zingy name of 'LimeTArts'  just evolved nicely out of everyone's names and what the group do. Our aim is to produce stitched textile artworks for exhibition and for sale and to share our knowledge with like minded people through our fun workshop days. 

We enjoy experimenting with new techniques whilst planning and designing our next project. We love playing with dyes and painting fabrics, printing, stitching, quilting, machine and hand embroidery, felting, embellishing and generally having a fun time whilst exploring our creative potential individually and as a group. 

Creating a piece of artwork using fabrics and stitch gives it a different dimension and makes a stunning and textural display with the added benefit of being lovely to touch as well as beautiful to look at. 

We hand dye or paint all our materials and also offer a selection of our hand dyed fabrics for you to buy through the website or at our workshops. All pieces have vibrant colours and beautiful dye marks that are just perfect to stitch into.
